I was born in Gull lake , Saskatchewan and lived there until I moved to Medicine Hat , Alberta . I became a Registered Nurse and worked for about 34-35 years mostly as a Home care Nurse. My family and Nursing have been my life .I have a very caring husband and 2 wonderful daughters and a wonderful son as well as pretty great grandchildren. We lost one son to cancer a year ago .I think I’m blessed . I took up art to have something to do in retirement . I took several classes from Maureen Newton ( a local artist) .She was an excellent teacher.
I found Matt Philleo's portrait painting on line and found him to be exceptionally good . I have benefited from his lessons and critiques so much but know I have much more to learn . I do not have a website and am not on instagram but I am on Facebook .
