Dannet is a crafter turned Artist. She has the philosophy, “you do not know what you can do until you try.” She started painting with friends for fun. She quickly learned that she enjoyed this new creative outlet. Wanting to further her new passion, she turned to the internet. There she found many fantastic artists that were willing to share their knowledge. This is where she found Matt Philleo’s Realistic Portrait Art challenge and subsequently joining his Facebook group. Under his and the group’s tutelage she has grown into a portrait artist. She has won awards in Alamance County Senior games as well as North Carolinas State Senior games.
